Appliance Repair Technician Mandeville

Appliance Repair Technician

Full Time • Mandeville
Founded in 1980, The Appliance Technician has been servicing customers on the northshore of lake Pontchartrain for a long time. As one of the northshores oldest appliance repair companies we have seen a lot of both fun and not so fun changes to the appliance industry.

Appliance repair is nothing like the image people may have in their head of the old time Maytag man, or the plumbers crack that comes to mind. Today we are more along the lines of computer repair people. Appliances are lighter and more computerized than ever before, and break a lot more. Being that they break at younger ages they are not nearly as dirty as they were 15 years ago. Don't get me wrong we still have our days of getting our hands dirty but most of our repairs are sensors, computers, thermostats, an occasional timer and sometimes on a good day, torch work.

If you're looking for a fun, free and rewarding work environment that requires a person who doesn't need to be babysat and can do their own homework you may have just stumbled into it. Someone with experience with sales, home repairs, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, automobile repair, computer repair, tv repair... a generally hands on person would be the ideal candidate.  This position is right for you if you are self-motivated, have a knack for troubleshooting, and are able to manage time to effectively meet deadlines.
